Does anyone keep poinsettias alive all year, or do you just let them die and get rid of them after Christmas. I usually try to keep all plants alive, but I feel like I'm subconsciously hoping this one just packs it in so we can get something less red and less Christmasy in our living room. As you can see I haven't been doing well at watering it. I feel a little guilty about that, especially since the rest of our house plants are relatively healthy. Is it more humane to kill dig it and throw it in the garbage or starve it until it's dead and has no chance of a come back?
